Heralded by top nutritionists, health experts and even health-conscious celebrities, matcha is full of exceptional virtues.

This high quality, finely ground, concentrated green tea has been traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies for centuries.

Matcha is a concentrated form of powdered green tea.

Its name is derived from the Chinese words "cha" (tea) and "ma" (powder) and comes from the plant Camellia sinensis. Matcha refers to the method by which the leaves are grown and processed. Once the leaves are collected, they are reduced to a fine powder. The nutritional content of Matcha tea is higher than that of other green teas which are steeped and then discarded because all of the matcha leaf is completely consumed.

Matcha contains rich nutrients and trace elements, the main components of which are tea polyphenols, caffeine, free amino acids, chlorophyll, proteins, cellulose, vitamins C, A, B1, B3, B5 , B6, E, K, H, potassium calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium, zinc, selenium, fluorine, etc.

For matcha, the best tea plants are selected and protected from the sun for 3 weeks before harvest. Our matcha powder is organic and EU / NOP certified. Matcha powder is extra fine 800 mesh processed at instantaneous and constant temperatures.

Numerous studies have shown that the chemical compounds naturally present in matcha are anticarcinogenic by inducing the death of cancer cells and by inhibiting the growth of these cells.

Matcha is also rich in antioxidants, it scavenges free radicals and encourages your body's natural detox systems.

When you consume matcha, you are consuming all of the goodness of green tea in its most concentrated form - and the health benefits are magnified!

The secret to matcha's super strength lies in its polyphenol compounds called catechins, a type of antioxidant found in superfoods like green tea, cocoa, and apples. Considered to be the most dense in catechins than most products, green tea provides incredible health benefits for people who drink it regularly. And this is especially true for matcha, a concentrated form of powdered green tea.

There are no additives, no preservatives, no artificial colors in our matcha. You can drink it directly or use it to flavor chocolates, candies, desserts, ice creams, drinks, etc.

Of all the natural foods rich in antioxidants, matcha green tea contains the highest levels of catechins. As a result, drinking matcha on a regular basis can go a long way in recovery from exercise training, burn fat, encourage strength at the cellular level, and even be part of a natural cancer treatment program.

So, if you're looking to maximize the potency of tea in your daily routine, look no further than brewing and enjoying a nice, piping hot cup of matcha.

The most studied benefits of matcha are:

It is a natural remedy for cancer;

It is an excellent fat burner and promotes weight loss (A study from the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition has shown reduction in body fat after 12 weeks of consuming matcha);

It fights chronic fatigue;

It improves endurance and recovery after intensive physical effort;

It is a natural energizer;

It fights anxiety by increasing the levels of dopamine and GABA in the brain;

It reduces the risk of heart disease and hypertension;

It reduces the risk of type II diabetes;

It detoxifies the body. Chlorophyll is a very effective detoxifier that can help flush unwanted toxins, chemicals, and heavy metals from your body. Chlorophyll increases the blood's ability to deliver oxygen and other nutrients to the body's cells, which helps the body to regenerate and cleanse itself at the cellular level. Consuming a cup of matcha every day is an easy way to make detoxification part of your daily life.

How to use our organic matcha powder?

There are no additives, no preservatives, no artificial colors in our matcha. You can drink it directly or use it to flavor chocolates, candies, desserts, ice creams, drinks, etc.
The easiest and most common way to use matcha powder is to make tea.

A simple way to 'properly' prepare matcha green tea is as follows

1. Fill the kettle with fresh filtered water and bring to a boil.

2. Put lukewarm water (not boiling) in the bottom of the bowl or cup.

3. Add 1 teaspoon of matcha powder to the bowl or mug

4. Add 2 ounces of nearly boiled water.

5. Whisk (ideally with a bamboo brush or tea whisk) the water and powder vigorously for a minute or two until the texture is thick and fluffy with tiny bubbles.

6. Add 3 to 4 more ounces of hot (but never boiling) water.

The caffeine content of matcha is higher than that of other green teas due to the fact that you are consuming whole tea leaves when you drink matcha. It is not a good choice if you are sensitive to caffeine. That said, although it is very high in caffeine, it is more balanced and alert, as it contains high levels of the calming amino acid, L-theanine.

It's best to avoid drinking matcha for six hours after your bedtime to avoid trouble sleeping.

It is not recommended to consume matcha on an empty stomach, as drinking green tea in this way can cause an upset stomach and nausea. It is best to drink it after a meal.

If you are anemic, it is important to know that consuming green tea can lead to decreased absorption of iron from food.
